STUDENT GOVERNMENT ASSOCIATION

About Us
The Student Government Association of Salisbury University is a body of student leaders committed to building the bridge that connects the undergraduate population directly to the administration making the decisions that shape their campus experience. We exist to advocate -- not to plan events -- by turning YOUR student voices into real, actionable change.

Since 1945, one thing has never changed: we listen, and we act. Today, that means going beyond event-planning to build real credibility with research-backed advocacy, active listening, and hands-on collaboration with university governance, RSOs, and students like you. Your concerns don't get filed away; they get followed through.

For 80 years, our organization has been dedicated to making SU an institution where the call of every Sea Gull is heard and equally valued. Our office is located in the Guerrieri Student Union (GSU) Room 130, and we welcome all campus community members with questions or concerns, or interest in joining this mission!

Our Vision
Sea Gull Pride isn't something we hand out. It's something we build with you, through real advocacy and real access, alongside every organization and student on this campus.
We don't just show up; we listen, we research, and we follow through. From supporting clubs and organizations to advocating directly for student concerns, everything we do lives out SU's "Make Tomorrow Yours" motto -- real service that turns student voices into visible change. Every Sea Gull's view matters here, and every Sea Gull should feel it. This is what a more accessible, more inclusive SU looks like.
